wheelbarrow Chaia May designs her gardens with whimsy and beauty in mind, choosing flowers and plants that have all kinds of surprises from “money plants” to “Horsetail Plants” that date back to the time of the dinosaur.
As art/science projects she has designed stepping stones with the campers she’s had and now is doing this as projects for day care settings.

She is now extending her magic touch to children’s gardens in day care centers and in homes with children with sensory integration needs so that nature acts as a healing element for children and a calming setting for parents with special needs children.

Chaia May's Garden designs include:

an Asian themed garden with bamboo hideaways, dry river creek beds with a “stone bridge” and a variety
of simple, low maintenance water elements and vegetable/flower beds.

a succulent garden that not only conserves water but offers explorations in color, texture and surprise flowers for the many young families of avid garden enthusiasts and day care directors who come to visit.
